But among all those lists don’t forget the things you need to pack in a hospital bag for yourself, your baby and your significant other. You may be in the hospital for longer than you expect, so pack more than you need. Here’s a handy dandy list to get you started.

Add that to belly’s big sister, yoyomama, and we’ve had lots of growth and juggling and possibly even a titch of sibling rivalry.

No, we’re not suggesting you burden your babe with a name like Really Rainy or Georgia Straight, but you can compare the choice you’re about to make against BC Vital Statistic Agency’s list of most popular baby names that’s updated annually. After all, if you’re toying with the names Ethan or Ava, it’s good to know that they were BC’s most popular baby names in 2008 and 2007.
